Using feng shui to sell your St George home faster

The ancient art of feng shui is all about balance and allowing free energy flow (Chi) around your home. Using the principles of feng shui to get your home ready for a sale in the St George region can be quite beneficial, especially if you want to attract more potential buyers.

In feng shui, the entry or the appearance of your home from the street is vitally  important. It should look inviting and welcoming to visitors and also welcome positive energy flow to enter.

Here are a few things you can do to improve the kerb appeal of your home.

• Paint the front door in an attractive colour to make it stand out and invite positive Chi into your home.
• Make sure that the lights over your entry are working or install new ones if they’re not. It goes without saying that the lights should be clean and free from cobwebs.
• Ensure the locks on your front door work well and replace your screen door if there are holes in the mesh.
• Ensure that the windows are sparkling clean, both inside and out. This makes your home look inviting and gives the impression that what’s beyond is also clean and bright.
• Mow your front lawn and trim the edges. Trim any overgrown trees or shrubs to allow free energy flow around them.
• Clean the gutters and repair any peeling paintwork or damaged guttering.
• Make sure your driveway and paths are clean and free of debris.
