Kumbia Race Club

Raine & Horne Kingaroy proudly support the Kumbia Race Club – home of the legendary “Flemington of the Bush” Melbourne Cup Day Race Meeting.

Racing in Kumbia dates back to 1922. While the club once held up to eight race days each year, it now focuses on its iconic Melbourne Cup Day event – a tradition that remains a major highlight for the Kumbia community.

Each year, hundreds of punters and racegoers from across Queensland descend on Kumbia to enjoy the atmosphere, the racing, and the region’s famous country hospitality. The local track even draws comparisons to Flemington itself, with its unusually long, wide, and beautifully grassy straight – a rare feature for a country course.
