Work for Kurri's $5.6 million CBD upgrade officially kicks off today.
Street tree planting, landscaping, footpaths, pedestrian crossings, street furniture, lighting, line marking & signage is to be installed in an effort to rejuvenate the town centre.
Stage 1 of the master plan will enhance the visual amenity, improve traffic flow and accessibility for pedestrians, preserve important vistas, and complement the local character of Kurri Kurri.
The project is located on Lang Street, Kurri between Alexandra Street and Merthyr Street with work expected to be completed by 23 December 2022.
