Raised on a family farm in the Central Tablelands of NSW, Angus developed a strong work ethic and practical, grounded approach from an early age. His background in agriculture and small business instilled in him the values of hard work, adaptability and delivering results through genuine relationships.

After relocating to the Clarence Valley with his wife Catherine, Angus spent 19 years owning and operating SPAR Yamba. During this time, he became a well-respected member of the community, successfully growing the business while strengthening his expertise in financial management, team leadership and customer service. His involvement extended well beyond the business, supporting local sporting clubs, schools and community initiatives, and building lasting connections across the region.
