Ron Brooks, Managing Director of Raine & Horne Tasmania, is a registered land surveyor and developer who entered real estate sales more than 30 years ago, quickly establishing himself as a leading agent in Tasmania's Kingborough Municipality.

Recognising that real estate agents were critical to the success of developments, Ron acquired the Raine & Horne Tasmania master franchise in 1993, then a single Hobart CBD office, with wife Marg Brooks serving as Company Secretary. He has since grown the network to include Raine & Horne Hobart, Raine & Horne Commercial Hobart, and offices in Kingston, Kingborough Rentals, Eastern Shore (Bellerive), Sorell, Tasman Peninsula (Dunnally), Orford, and Northern Suburbs.

Having worked alongside two generations of the Raine family, Ron shares Angus Raine's philosophy that any new office should be a strong, well-established business, or not pursued at all. Today, he is proud to see the family legacy continue with sons David (residential sales) and Paul (General Manager of Franchising and Financial Controller of Developments) both part of the Raine & Horne Hobart team.
