Our History

Raine & Horne Marrickville | Dulwich Hill was established in 1987 by Michael and Yvonne Smith. In those early days, it was just the two of them with a small support team. Today, the office is one of the top Inner West real estate agencies and is consistently ranked among the top 10 Raine & Horne offices nationwide.

Over the years, the team has expanded to include specialists across all aspects of real estate. In 2005, the need for a dedicated commercial division led to the establishment of Raine & Horne Commercial Inner West / South Sydney, which has since become a leading commercial agency with a strong track record across Sydney’s East, Inner West, Canterbury, and St. George regions.

Following the commercial office’s success, a third specialist division, Raine & Horne Projects, was launched in 2013 to work directly with developers and investors on the marketing and sale of off-the-plan developments.

In 2016, long-standing team members Paul Signorelli and Filippo D’Arrigo joined Michael and Yvonne Smith as Principals of Raine & Horne Marrickville. By 2021, both were appointed Directors, with Paul also becoming Licensee in Charge. Under their day-to-day stewardship, doing real estate the Raine & Horne Marrickville | Dulwich Hill way remains the office’s number one priority.

In early 2024, it was announced that the agency would evolve into Raine & Horne Marrickville | Dulwich Hill, reflecting the strong presence and reputation the office has built in the neighbouring suburb over the past forty years.

Today, Raine & Horne Marrickville boasts a combined team of 25 real estate professionals across its three offices and is widely regarded as the number one agency in the area.
