It’s that time of year again!

The team at Raine & Horne Maclean, Yamba & Iluka, in partnership with Yamba Bowling Club, are hosting a Biggest Morning Tea to help the Cancer Council raise vital funds for people impacted by cancer — and we’d love for you to join us for this wonderful cause.

Come along for a fun-filled family day at Yamba Bowling Club, featuring barefoot bowls, croquet, live music, raffles, and more. Guests will enjoy complimentary lunch and drinks, with all proceeds supporting a charity dedicated to helping our local community fight cancer.

Why are we hosting a Morning Tea?

Almost 1 in 2 Australians are diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. We want to help change that — and we need your support.

Together, our Morning Tea and the funds we raise will help bring us closer to a cancer-free future.

Your fundraising can help make a real difference:

• $150 provides two people recently diagnosed with cancer with one-on-one support, connecting them with a trained Cancer Connect volunteer.
• $500 helps provide training to leaders of cancer support groups, where people can meet and share their experiences in an emotionally supportive environment.
• $1,000 pays for the analysis of two gene samples for a research project.

Things to bring

Hat and sunscreen – stay sun smart!
Gold coins – $1 and $2 coins for games and raffles on the day, with lots of prizes to be won.

Community and charity are part of Raine & Horne Maclean, Yamba & Iluka’s DNA. Our team feels a deep connection to the Cancer Council, as cancer has directly affected our team, our families, and our friends.
